Staying on property at Walt Disney World does not have to break the bank. Sometimes the value resorts on property are the same, if not cheaper, than staying offsite PLUS you get the bonus of onsite amenities such as:

All Star Movies is one of five resorts in the Value Category at Walt Disney World, and one of three in the All-Star family. This resort though is by far my favorite with the theming. It’s like a magical playground with 5 themed zones, each boasting gigantic statues straight out of beloved Disney flicks! We’ve got the delightful 101 Dalmatians, the whimsical Fantasia, the sporty Mighty Ducks, the lovable Herbie The Love Bug, and my personal fave, Toy Story! These statues are perfect for snapping epic pics, whether you’re a kid or just a kid at heart! We were lucky enough to be in the Mighty Ducks area, and let me tell you, strutting through that giant mask every morning was a blast! Strolling through the 101 Dalmatians section? Pure joy, and it made the trek to our room feel like a breeze!

Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort has 2 room categories: Standard and Preferred. While you can’t go wrong with either the Preferred Rooms are just as described (preferred!) These rooms are close to the dining area, transportation, and shopping. After a long day of magical adventures, who wants to take a marathon trek back to their room? Not you! Preferred Rooms come with a slightly fancier price tag, but hey, comfort is key! Both room types come with 1 Queen Bed and 1 Queen-Sized Table Bed, perfect for your crew size. The table beds are super easy to pull down or tuck away depending on your preference. When you think pull down beds you think thin, no support, awful mattress but let me tell you those beds are like clouds!

All Star Movies is a splash-tastic paradise with not one, but TWO fabulous pools! First up, we’ve got the Fantasia pool, right in the heart of the resort, where Sorcerer Mickey works his magic. Kids will be squealing with delight as water shoots up from Mickey’s base like a mini fountain of fun! Then, there’s the Duck Pond Pool in The Mighty Ducks section—quack-tastic, right? Both pools are sparkling clean and stocked with towels galore! Forget about midday breaks; being on property means you can take the plunge whenever you please! Just hop on the Disney Transportation bus and dive back in for a refreshing swim (or a cheeky snooze). The water is perfectly warm, making it a delightful oasis to cool off without turning into a hot tub potato!

Need a bite to eat? Stop by the World Premiere Food Court for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, drinks, and snacks galore. We kick off our mornings with a stack of Mickey waffles that are simply magical! Plus, All Star Movies has jumped on the Mobile Dining bandwagon, and we’re all aboard. My family likes to pick our cravings while still in our pajamas and have our food waiting for us when we stroll into the dining hall. If your kiddos are like mine, then they are hungry the minute we step onto a WDW bus no matter what time of day it is- we like to mobile order after a day of park adventures and have our goodies (mainly the pizza) hot and ready as we hop off the bus.

Overall, my family always really enjoys staying at All Star Movies. It’s family friendly, easy to get around, budget friendly, and helped to immerse my family in everything Disney!
